Pilates for Rehab and Wellness

The unique combination of PT and Pilates has created a new and effective way to treat patients. Pilates strengthens core muscles which can decrease mid or low back pain, headaches, knee or hip pain, and shoulder pain, to name just a few. Pilates can also help improve flexibility in soft tissue as well as improve posture, joint mobility and balance. It is a gentle form of exercise/rehab that can be performed safely by a wide range of ages and ability levels.


Hillary L Joseph PT, MPT, COMT

Hillary was first introduced to the world of Physical Therapy after receiving treatment for a back injury she sustained in high school. She pursued her newfound passion and completed a Masters of Science from Northeastern University in 2005. Originally from Wisconsin, she fell in love with Colorado while completing a clinical rotation in Vail. Hillary brings conscientiousness, kindness and great skill to her Physical Therapy practice and Pilates & Wellness instruction. When not working, she enjoys her love of all things outdoors with her husband, Bryon, and 2 children, Sierra and Declan.

Professional Experience and Education

Hillary earned her Masters Degree in Physical Therapy from Northeastern University in Boston, MA. She gained clinical experience while working at Vail Sports Medicine Physical Therapy (Vail, CO), Methodist Children’s Hospital (San Antonio, TX), and Lakeview Neuro-Rehabilitation Center (Waterford, WI). She started her career at Cherry Creek Physical Therapy (Denver) in 2005, where she treated a wide spectrum of patients. Now with over 10 years of clinical experience, Hillary continues to use her ever-growing skill set to help her patients recover from injury and transition into a wellness program.


Hillary has dedicated a great deal of time and energy to completing the following certifications:

Karen L Lewis PT, MPT

Karen combines over 30 years of fitness and healthcare experience to offer her patients a complete, well-balanced therapy program. She began teaching exercise in 1987 and always followed the latest fitness trends. Her current passion is teaching Pilates. She started practicing physical therapy in New Orleans in 2003, and then continued in her home town of Denver in 2005. Karen emphasizes a holistic approach to her physical therapy and wellness programs, and ensures patient understanding through her educational and supportive style. In her spare time, Karen enjoys spending time with family and friends, travelling, hiking, paddle boarding, biking and gardening.

Professional Experience and Education

Karen earned her Masters Degree in Physical Therapy from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center with academic honors. She earned the Physical Therapy Award for Academic Excellence and the Physical Therapy Department Dean’s Award Nomination. Her clinical experience includes Spalding Rehabilitation Hospital (Denver), Cherry Creek Physical Therapy (Denver), University Hospital (New Orleans), and Veteran’s Administration Hospital (New Orleans). Karen’s work experience includes Children’s Hospital (New Orleans), Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center (New Orleans), Ochsner Foundation Hospital (New Orleans), and Cherry Creek Physical Therapy (Denver). Karen has also taught a variety of fitness classes at a state-of-the-art facility in New Orleans and worked as a personal trainer since 2004 for clients on all types of Pilates equipment.

Samantha Harmon PT, DPT

Sammi grew up in Aurora, Colorado. Her interest in physical therapy began with her personal experience having many injuries as a ballet dancer. She received a BFA in Ballet from the University of Utah, and went on to perform professionally with Colorado Ballet and Ballet Ariel in Denver. She then went on to receive her Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus in 2017. She continues to dance and perform with Ballet 5280 in Denver, and teaches ballet at various studios in the Denver metro area. Sammi enjoys using her years of dance and teaching experience to help dancers and non-dancers recover from orthopedic injuries, particularly of the foot and ankle.

Professional Experience & Education

Sammi earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Colorado. During her education, she completed clinical rotations in inpatient rehabilitation at Infinity Rehab in Brighton, and outpatient therapy at The University of Utah Orthopaedic Center in Salt Lake City and Northern Colorado Rehabilitation Hospital in Johnstown.

Sammi is committed to lifelong learning and to further develop her skills and knowledge as a physical therapist. She plans to pursue a variety of continuing education courses, particularly through the Maitland-Australian Physiotherapy Seminars program.

Katherine Koch

Katherine Koch PT, DPT

Katherine is from Cleveland, Ohio and grew up running cross country and track. This translated to running marathons in college at Ohio State University, where she was introduced to physical therapy with a running injury.  She graduated from Ohio State with a B.S. in Exercise Science and a B.A. in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies before moving to Denver to pursue a Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Regis University. She has since run 5 marathons in 5 states, aiming to one day run a marathon in each state. Katherine enjoys treating people with all types of orthopedic conditions, as well as vestibular and pelvic floor dysfunctions.

Professional Experience and Education

Katherine earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Regis University. She completed her four clinical rotations in Wyoming, Colorado, Oregon, and Arizona. In Bend, Oregon and Flagstaff, Arizona, she completed rotations that focused on both simple and complex orthopedic, vestibular, and pelvic floor physical therapy.


Katherine is certified in level 1 pelvic floor physical therapy and enjoys empowering women and men through exercise and education.

Katherine is passionate about being a lifelong learner as a physical therapist. She plans to expand her manual therapy skills through Maitland courses and to become certified in advanced pelvic floor physical therapy and dry needling.

Alan Zidek

Alan Zidek PT, MPT

Alan became interested in physical therapy after working for many years in the bicycle industry helping competitive cyclists prevent and recover from injuries.  In 2005 he received his Masters of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Kansas Medical Center then moved to Arkansas where he began working with people recovering from spinal cord injuries, limb amputations, and a variety of orthopedic issues.  He loves seeing his clients recover from injuries and return to living full lives.  Outside of therapy, Alan enjoys spending time with his wife and training their two hyper-active dogs (border collie and Australian shepherd).

Professional Experience and Education

Alan has an undergraduate degree in English from Kansas State University, and a Master of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Kansas.  He has worked in hospital and outpatient settings addressing a spectrum of diagnoses, from joint replacements, rotator cuff repairs, spinal fusions and amputations, to neurological problems, like MS, stroke, and spinal cord injuries.  Even with over 14 years of therapy experience, Alan is always seeking new ways for patients to recover and excel after injury.

Natalie Ormond PT, DPT

Natalie received her combination degree of Doctor of Physical Therapy and Bachelor of Health Science at SUNY Downstate in Brooklyn, NY in May 2010. She has been privileged to work in several areas of the field including inpatient, inpatient rehab for total hip and knee replacements, home health and PRN for SNF, neuro-inpatient and outpatient facilities in New York and Colorado. This wide variety has given Natalie a greater appreciation of the depth and breadth that physical therapists provide for society as a whole. She is level 1 certified to do Functional Dry Needling through Kinetacore since 2018. Natalie is interested in being a consultant to assist patients in recognizing their own body mechanics and becoming more body aware while they heal through exercise and some manual techniques. She is interested in assisting patients with healing so they can return to their preferred activities that bring them joy! When Natalie is not working, she loves to spend time with her husband and children or pursuing rowing in Master’s regattas around the country.

Jonathan Hebert LCMT

Jonathan is a licensed certified massage therapist who trained at the Boulder College of Massage Therapy. He has received training in a variety of styles including: Swedish, Neuromuscular, Orthopedic, Sports, Craniosacral, Shiatsu and Thai style massage. Jonathan worked in a private practice setting prior to joining the Blue Sky team. He utilizes a thorough knowledge of anatomy and physiology to educate and empower clients to support their long-term health.

Rachel Sigg Billing Specialist

Born and raised in Boulder, Colorado, Rachel earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from CU Boulder in 2009 and an Associates degree in Medical Billing in 2014. In her free time, she enjoys all things outdoors and sports with her husband and two sons. She has been a member of the Blue Sky team since we opened in January 2009.

Megan is from Dallas, Texas and received her Bachelor’s degree of Science in Kinesiology from the University of North Texas. She moved to Colorado with her husband, Eric, after he completed his service in the Air Force. In her free time, Megan enjoys any and all things outdoors – from skiing in the mountains to scuba diving in the Caribbean.

Each patient receives one-on-one attention from a highly skilled physical therapist for the entire duration of the appointment. Initial appointments are scheduled for one hour and follow-up appointments are 30 minutes. Our therapists customize your treatment plan to fit your needs.
