Insurance Info

Blue Sky Physical Therapy accepts most major health insurance plans including all PPO plans. If your plan is not listed, please call us at 303-388-1537 as we are always adding new insurance plans.

As a courtesy to our patients, we get a quote of your health benefits prior to your arrival to determine if there will be a copay, deductible, or coinsurance for therapy services. However, we also recommend calling your insurance before your first appointment to verify your benefits, that way you know what to expect from your providers.

For those patients who do not have health insurance or those who have maxed out their benefits, we offer a private pay plan. Please contact Blue Sky Physical Therapy in Denver, CO today for more information on our fees for service and payment details.

Disclaimer: While this is an extensive list, health plans do change regularly without prior notification. We recommend that you verify with your health plan what physical therapy benefits you have available.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Q: What will I owe for each appointment?

A: Always call your insurance to verify your benefits before receiving a service. For physical therapy, ask for your outpatient physical therapy benefits.

Q: Will I owe anything with Medicare?

A: If you have traditional Medicare Part B, there is a $266 calendar year deductible. If you have a secondary insurance, you need to call your secondary insurance to inquire whether they cover the deductible. If your secondary does not cover your Medicare deductible, then you are responsible for the deductible and can expect a bill from Blue Sky.

  1. If you have a Medicare Advantage plan, which replaces your traditional Medicare Part B, you need to call to verify your benefits as these plans often have a copay.

Q: What is my insurance paying?

A: Review your Explanation of Benefits (EOB) after every date of service (DOS). The EOB will show the “allowable amount”, what/if insurance paid, and what “you owe”. Verify what you have paid at the DOS against the EOB as you may have only paid a portion of the amount owed. If you have questions on how a date of service is processed, please contact your insurance company before calling our office.
