Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy

Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy is a treatment delivered by specifically trained physical therapists to address pelvic pain and pelvic floor issues that many women experience at some point in their lives. These issues may be a result of sports injury, childbirth, menopause or aging, but pelvic floor dysfunction can affect anyone. Muscles in the pelvic area may become tight or weak leading to a variety of painful or debilitating ailments that can affect your daily life. A physical therapist will perform a musculoskeletal examination to determine what specific type of treatment you will need which may include manual therapy, strengthening, flexibility and/or relaxation techniques. Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy is a relatively new type of physical therapy that many people may not be familiar with or may be too embarrassed to talk about. As a result many problems go untreated. The goal of Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy in Denver, CO is to improve your function and quality of life.

Cannot recommend Rachael at BlueSky PT highly enough for pelvic floor PT. When I first started seeing her I was in constant pain from endo and other chronic factors – since working with her it has been night and day difference, my pain so much better and I feel much more empowered with knowledge about my body and how it works. Pelvic Floor PT is so effective and Rachael is a highly skilled and incredibly compassionate provider!
