Blake Pepper-Tunick, PT, DPT, ATC

Blake grew up in northern California, developing a love for endurance sports after experiencing several health issues of his own. This passion for health, fitness, and medicine brought him to San Diego State University where he raced on the triathlon team for four years. In 2014 Blake earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology and certifications in Athletic Training from SDSU and Personal Training from ACSM. After graduation Blake worked for two years with a variety of populations in sports medicine and fitness in Boulder, Colorado. Following this, Blake traveled to Israel where he volunteered as a basic EMT for several months interspersed with backpacking through Europe and Southeast Asia. In 2020 Blake earned his doctorate of physical therapy degree and license, and began work in Colorado Springs before eventually moving back to Denver where he currently resides. Blake enjoys biking, running, swimming, watching movies, and traveling. In 2023 Blake completed his first Ironman distance triathlon in Sacramento, California.

Professional Experience and Education

In 2020 Blake graduated from the University of Colorado: Anschutz Medical Medical Campus Physical Therapy Program, earning his Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Blake worked for over a year in outpatient orthopedics in Colorado Springs with a specialty in aquatic therapy before beginning work at Blue Sky Physical Therapy in 2022. Previously, Blake graduated from San Diego State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis and certification in Athletic Training. Blake has also worked as a personal trainer in Boulder for two years and for several months as a basic EMT in Israel.
